At the beginning of September, CADO and the Association of Community Development Consultants (ACDC) launched a marathon of field visits as part of the School for All Children! -II project. One week before the start of the school year, between September 6-12, we met one by one with representatives of the county school inspectorates, prefect’s institutions, county offices for Roma and local monitors from Bucharest, Prahova, Brasov, Mures, Cluj, Maramureș, Suceava and Iași.
During these meetings we presented what we want to achieve in the field of monitoring school segregation through this project, we discussed the possibilities of collaboration, how to support the process of monitoring school segregation at the local level and the protocols were signed collaboration. As a result of these meetings, 12 partnerships were concluded.
We appreciate the openness with which the county authorities welcomed us and the assurances they offered in support of efforts to create an environment in which all children have equal access to quality education, without discrimination.
“Working together for an inclusive Europe!”
