The ReAct Project responds to the need to create an adequate and friendly hearing environment in the justice system in which the rights of minors are respected and to end the institutional practice that subjects victims to a long process of victimization. The main tool used is to increase the capacity of 10 NGOs in advocacy actions at the national and European level to change the legal framework of the hearing of minors, in order to safeguard the success of these actions due to a higher number of allies and supporters with expertise in the field.
Also, within this project, will be conducted a research at the national level on the situation of children as victims/witnesses of trafficking cases in the justice system, will be implemented a public awareness campaign regarding the situation of minors as victims of trafficking in the justice system, targeting also over 2000 children in the prevention of trafficking minors, and a number of 150 police officers, prosecutors and judges will be trained in the hearing of minors according to European standards.
